omg BACON

It's hard to image the flavor of bacon can be improved upon... But don't take our word, try it out!

PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES

TOTAL TIME:  35 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 PACKAGE THICK CUT BACON
  • 3 TBSP OF KOKO SPICE KLASSIC OR KICKIN'

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil, lightly spray with oil.
  3. Choose Option 1 or Option 2 below.
  4. Place baking sheet in oven for 15 minutes.
  5. Prepare a space with paper towels to transfer bacon to once it's done.
  6. Remove baking sheet and flip bacon.  Place baking sheet back in oven and continue for about 10 more minutes - depending on how you like your bacon.
  7. Remove from oven and transfer to space with paper towels.

OPTION 1

  1. Pour the Koko Klassic or Kickin' into a long shallow dish.
  2. Dredge the bacon, coating each side in the Koko Spice.
  3. Place coated bacon side by side on lined baking sheet - try not to overlap.
  4. Return to step 4 in Instructions.

OPTION 2

  1. Place bacon on lined baking sheet side by side
  2. Sprinkle Koko Klassic or Kickin' on the bacon (slightly rub in if needed).
  3. Flip bacon over and again sprinkle Koko Spice on the bacon (slightly rub in if needed).
  4. Return to step 4 in Instructions.

VARIATIONS/TIPS

  1. If choosing to do your bacon on the crispier side, watch closely as your bacon will develop more caramelization and the ends will get crispy and it can get very smoky.  Yes, I learned the hard way. :)
  2. This works for other methods of cooking bacon.
  3. If going for extreme heat and flavor, choose Kryin' and be careful!
